The
Gem and Keystone Celebrates its 1st Anniversary

2010 (Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania)
– The Gem and Keystone™ Brewpub is celebrating
its 1st Anniversary during the month of September
with weekly menu specials, raffles and a chance to
win a grand prize provided by Ultra Diamond, located
in The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville.
For the entire month of September, the Gem
will be offering a 12 oz. draft of a ShawneeCraft®
Ale or Lager for $1.00 when accompanied with an entrée.
Each week a different ShawneeCraft® variety will
be offered under this promotion. In addition, with
each visit, guests of the Gem will be entered into
a drawing to win prizes ranging from gift certificates
and souvenirs to a pink sapphire and diamond heart
pendant valued at $399.00 from Ultra Diamond.
The Gem’s fans and followers on Facebook and
Twitter can expect special promotions in celebration
of the brewpub’s anniversary. These promotions
will only be available by adding The Gem and Keystone™
Brewpub on the social media websites Facebook and

Known for offering epicureans all-natural and locally-sourced
dining options in the Poconos, The Gem and Keystone™
Brewpub serves entrées with produce cultivated
from the Shawna Farm located on the Golf Island of
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. From the Gem’s
genesis, there has been a strong emphasis on providing
the highest quality food while using environmentally
sustainable practices.
The slogan “Beer from Here, Food from Near”
embodies the Gem’s local-sourced vision. As
a result of this vision, the Gem serves ShawneeCraft®
Ales and Lagers brewed on-property and established
the Shawna Farm.
A lot of great things have happened during the Gem’s
first year in business. ShawneeCraft® Brewing’s
Pumpkin Saison was named best of the season by Joe
Sixpack of the Philadelphia Inquirer, numerous charities,
including AWSOM and Hands-On, benefited from the Gem’s
beer dinners, and an apiary was established to assist
in the pollination of the Shawna Farm which expanded
by 150% this year.
