MOTHER'S DAY AT SHAWNEE
She’s the first person who held you… fed you. While you were ill she cared for and nurtured you. The Sudafed Company even branded their famous cough syrup DM – Dr. Mom after her well advertised skill to make everything better! And what exactly does DM actually stand for? She even appears in nearly every Campbell’s Tomato Soup Commercial known to man. The world is well aware of her importance and the ever changing nature of her occupation as Mom, family CEO & CFO, doctor, chef, psychologist and the list goes on.
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort has a soft spot for moms everywhere. There are few things in this world more pure than a mother’s love for her family.  SHAWNEE EMBRACES EARTH DAYThe Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort Adopts River Road
Thursday, April 11, 2013 (Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania) – The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort will officially adopt River Road, located in Smithfield Township, Pennsylvania. The road adoption will take place on April 20th, 2013 as a celebratory milestone for the 10th Annual River Road Clean-Up that the resort organizes.
The unveiling of the adoption signs, provided by the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful program through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, will take place during the 10th Annual River Road Cleanup beginning at 8:00 am and concluding 11:30 am. The River Road Cleanup will be followed by an appreciation luncheon at The Gem and Keystone Brewpub for the volunteers....»read
